Pension Credit

Child Benefit

A payment for anyone responsible for raising a child under 16 (or under 20 in approved education or training).

  • For children under 16

  • Universal payment

  • Helps with raising children

Carer Support

Carer's Allowance

A payment for people who spend at least 35 hours a week caring for someone with a disability or illness.

  • 16 or over

  • At least 35 hours caring per week

  • Not in full-time education

  • Earnings limit applies

Mobility Support

Motability Scheme

A scheme allowing eligible disabled people to exchange a qualifying mobility allowance for a new car, WAV, scooter or powered wheelchair.

Care Support

Attendance Allowance
